About Crum Electric
Crum Electric Supply was founded by David H. Crum in Casper, Wyoming in 1976. The company's headquarters remains in Casper, with branch operations in Wyoming, South Dakota, Idaho, and Colorado.

Crum Electric Supply has grown steadily since its beginning. Growth has come both internally and by acquisition. Major acquisitions include the purchase of Gifford Electric Supply in South Dakota in 1987, General Electric Supply Co. in Rock Springs, Wyoming in 1993, GEM Electric Supply in Idaho in 1997, Component Specialties of Grand Junction, Colorado in 1999, Omni Electrical Distributors of Denver, Colorado in 2002, and Hytech Supply of Denver, CO in 2004.

1997 saw the beginning of our new data & tele-communications product division, Crum.com. This division is growing rapidly. The emerging "connected world" offers great opportunities for this new enterprise.

Our company's slogan... “Plug into Quality - People, Products, Service”... reflects the value that Crum Electric Supply places in maintaining the best and brightest people, the highest quality products available, and the most complete, dependable service levels in the industry.

We recognize the customer as Crum Electric Supply's primary reason for existing.

Our motto... "There's a way to do it better - find it"... brings focus to our activities. We are committed to work continually to improve our People, Products, and Service.
